The Gong Ride - Preliminary

I am starting this posting early. Might never finish it!

It's my first charity ride, see the official site

The route looks interesting. I have done the Waterfall to Woolongong section before. A good climb up to Bald Hill, so it's with some trepidation an extra 40 odd Km on to the start.

Anyway, should be interesting. If there's no more posts after this, you know I would have had a heart attack :-) . Or benn run over by the other 8000 entrants!

Things to do include replacing the rear tyre, a good, kelvar lined tyre that has done 5000 Km on glass strewn paths. It's cut to bits so it shall be assigned reserve status.
