Bike Lights

 

I bought an el-cheapo bike light from DealExtreme. $4.15 worth.

Well I couldn't get it to work so pulled it to bits, though there weren't too many bits, and it is controlled by a magnetic reed switch



To make it work, you push the switch forward, release the pressure off the switch, it flies back and triggers the reed relay.

Bit too complicated for me. Any 5yo would have psyched it in one second flat.

Anyway, it's all working now, sort of, the mounting bracket broke while trying to affix it to the bike. Maybe just as well I don't do much (ie none) night riding, and just as well I didn't pay too much for it.
