When I Become World Dictator

With bicycle tyres at $50 a pop, it is a real waste to have a shard of glass do this. Right down to the kelvar. The tyre is pretty worn anyway so will keep it on till it starts giving me trouble.

Which brings me to the subject, when I am world dictator, there will be no beer in glass bottles. Or, maybe try the South Australian solution, put a $1.00 deposit on beer bottles. Unfortunately drunks don't see the value of money.

Todays Visitor

Normally see these eagles (or are they hawks) way up in the sky. Don't think I have ever seen one so close before. Maybe it was lost, or injured, though it flew off pretty rapidly when a flock of starlings arrived.

A Couple of Photos

The new bus area for Belconnen Town Center is coming along fine, the concrete carriageway extends from the old bus station area to the western side of the mall. Planned October opening is looking good.

It was a bit cold this morning, temperature was -4 centigrade and a bucket of water froze up. Wouldn't have gone skating on it, but it is the sort of thing that makes you wish you were on the coast or up in Qld

Bicycle Computer Battery Replacement

Well today I replaced the battery in my $10.00 Aldi Bicycle Computer.

$4.20 was the battery price, seems a bit ridiculous.

This is a remote posting using googlecl, will be interesting to see how it turns out, and whether I can also submit images this way as well.
