Cycling Computer Carks

I see back in April last year, I was up to 14000 with my "new bike". The other day the computer died. It was at 17051Km.

You cannot ride a bike with a computer!

After a few days, I really missed it, mainly not knowing the time, so today bought an $8.00 model from KMart. It tells the time (hooray) as well as the usual other readouts.

Hallucinations with Endone

If you read this page on Endone there is no suggestion of hallucinating with the drug. If you do a Google search on Hallucinations Endone you will see that I was not alone in my experience.

I had my appendix removed in an "emergency" operation. Things were sore and after paracetamol seemed to do little, I was offered an Endone tablet.

It was bizarre, the first hallucination was a couple of bulls in front of thousands of people, then one bull disappeared while the other grew larger and sort of melted, then thousands of multi-colored miniature cylinders started crawling up over the image.

Open my eyes and BooM, all gone and just the ward as expected, all normal. There were several visions like this, it was weird, and I learnt to open my eyes to normalize things.

Another effect seemed physical. My knee cap was grabbed by a computer mouse like device with two jaws in it that frightened the life out of me. Open eyes and all gone again. On another occasion, something was pulling up on the left side of my face, that was kinda of scary.

I declined Endone after the second pill did similar tricks, and also declined the hospital offer to take a few home.

Bad news drug, keep away in my view.

Mentally Disturbed

When nine years old, our youngest daughter wrote a letter to her grandparents thanking them for a birthday present. It included a poem.

   MENTALLY DISTURBED

I'm understandably crasily wild
I just don't know what's making me act as a child
I'm going really really wierd
Its like winning a race and never being cheared
There's something funny that's making me change
Its something inside;that's where it feels strange!
