So first of all here are our riders for the day.
Cass rode her Mum's bike, but it had a real, real flat tyre so we pumped that up before we set out for our first destination, a playground near Cass's school. The playground was a mess with empty tins and cardboard boxes, but they cleaned that up real smartly and played on the swings and slides.
Then we rode onto another playground where there were lots of new playthings and lots more people. More slipping and sliding.
So after another break, we rode off again into the university and down the pretty paths to Sullivans Creek where we had our first food break, white bread and butter, some having vegemite.
After a short rest, we rode onto the lake Burley griffen path and headed off to the National Museum of Australia where more food was consumed and a visit was made to the rotating theatre. Cassandra upped her age for that!
Then it was off again around to the ferry terminal where we were greeted by swans. They are everywhere.
Then onto the bikes again and over Commonwealth bridge and round the path through Parliment House gardens to the House itself. Kids have a fascination for water, always wanting to get into it, but with out a towel or spare sets of clothes, had to say NO!
We rode through the carpark of PH and then down to the High Court where there was more water.
Then the final leg home, over Kings Avenue bridge, down past the Carillion and into Civic. here Bianca complained of headaches so we got her to drink lots of water which got her out of the dehydrated stae and off we went to the Dickson McDonalds.
