Some Terrible Places

Saw a tag line that went something like this;
A bus station is where busses stop,
A train station is where trains stop,
and on my desk, I have a work station!

Anyway, here is a bus station, taken without flash


It's the Belconnen bus station, taken about 10:00 pm. Rotten miserable out of the way places they are. There are two others like it in Canberra. On a winters night, it can be super miserable.

In my taxi driving days I had a few fares because they didn't want to walk the bus station walkway. Its not so bad in the day, but at night, it is a bit creepy. And there is no toilets!

The government is going to build a new one, integrate it with the shopping center. 'bout time I say!
