A Fun Day

School holidays again so we thought a walk would do us good. Across the playing fields where the Kanga Cup (mini world cup?) was being played out with all the screaming Mums and Dads, and then across the bridge and onto the path.

But what did the bridge cross? A drain, so guess where the kids walked to get to Dickson?

Water Rats

That photo was taken by one of the others but you get the idea. The fun part was to place a leaf in the running water and chase it down stream.

Eventually we arrived at the library and spent an hour there, found two Goosebump books which were taken out together with a stack of other books, hope they remember to return them. Then off to maccas for lunch, chips and cones, healthy eh?

Proof that maccas doesn't really kill you :-)

Then off we went, over the road to the tradies to see the bicycle museum, but alas, it had moved and was now back at the old Darra Club but open apparantley on Wednesdays, see the Museum web page for details.

So we just wandered home, up the gutter this time, but a bit more exercise as the picture below shows.
